What We Can Do.

More than ever during this uncertain time, we need to arm ourselves with the facts in order to make the best choices in our efforts to protect ourselves, our families, our customers, and our employees. There are a number of steps we all can take to disinfect spaces. Cleaning with Skill’s Global Biohazard Advisory Committee (GBAC) Trained Technicians utilize knowledge and practices gained from internationally-accredited training to provide professional electrostatic spraying to efficiently, effectively, and affordably disinfect your space. CWS strives to provide custom professional services for cleaning and disinfecting specific to each client’s needs and budget.

What is Electrostatic Spraying?

Electrostatic technology has been around since the 1940’s and has been used in the agricultural, automotive, and tanning industries. Recently, the technology has been proven to be an effective tool cleaning professionals can use to assist their communities in the fight against viruses, including COVID-19. Electrostatic spraying is a highly-effective method of applying solutions to surfaces using a proven technology, providing a uniform coverage that exceeds the efficacy of most traditional spray methods. The professional sprayers our professionals use deliver a charge when the unit is turned on that works itself down the line, through the pump and into the tank changing all ions positive. All the positive ions from the tank are then pumped from the tank through the pump and charged again at the charging ring prior to becoming atomized. This process produces a solution charged with electrostatics, which means the solution coats conductive surfaces as the charged droplets repel one another and actively seek out surfaces, adhering to and wrapping around those surfaces.

What are the Advantages?

Using the electrostatic sprayers with a manufacturer’s recommended EPA list N approved disinfectant enables safe, efficient and highly-effective disinfection. As fully-charged droplets hit the surface, they create an even spread and hold their cationic charge for approx. 2-3 seconds – preventing drips. This allows the solution to cover hidden and shadowed areas, resulting in efficient, effective coverage of more surfaces than traditional methods. Electrostatic spraying is particularly effective in high-density areas that need multi-surface disinfection services, like businesses, manufacturing plants, warehouses, retail spaces, offices, churches, schools, daycares, gyms, and even homes. The professional electrostatic sprayers we use have been designed to meet dwell times for solutions so they can work to their full capabilities, providing a patented system for broad and safe use. Cleaning with Skill’s GBAC trained technicians use NSF D2 Food Safe rated Vital Oxide, an EPA list N registered Hospital Grade Disinfectant, applied according to the manufacturer’s specifications with Victory Innovations electrostatic handheld and backpack professional sprayers.

What is Vital Oxide?

Vital Oxide is on the EPA list N, which identifies products that meet the EPA’s criteria for effective use against SARS-CoV-2, the novel coronavirus that causes the disease COVID-19.

Vital Oxide is an EPA registered disinfectant.

Vital Oxide eliminates Malodors caused by smoke, trash, septic systems, stale cooking & more. Vital Oxide contains no masking agents or fragrances and is highly effective at neutralizing urine and fecal odors.

Vital Oxide is used to stop mold growth on both hard and soft surfaces by penetrating and destroying tough mold, mildew and bacteria at its source.

Not All Disinfectants are Equal.

The EPA considers Vital Oxide a Category 4 on their rating system, the least toxic of all disinfectants.

Vital Oxide is NSF D2 rated as food safe, no rinse required.

Vital Oxide has no dermal contact issues.

Vital Oxide is basically a neutral pH (8.5) product.

Vital Oxide won’t contribute to the formation of mutating “super bugs” and does not contain volatile organic compounds (VOCs).

Vital Oxide is bleach-free, phosphate-free, and free of harsh chemicals and skin irritants.

Vital Oxide vs. Infectious Diseases:

Vital Oxide uses a unique chemical compound called chlorine dioxide (CLO2). Chlorine dioxide has been used in multiple bacteria and pathogen ridden environments, including during the Anthrax attacks and in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina. CLO2 has also been effectively used by municipalities to purify drinking water and has been recognized for its powerful disinfecting properties since the early 1900's. Most recently, CLO2 is being used to kill MRSA and SARS-CoV-2 in daycares, schools, churches, businesses and homes, and on military installations. While other competitors and manufacturers have attempted to copy and produce a form of stabilized chlorine dioxide similar to Vital Oxide, its revolutionary formula is simply unequaled.

In independent testing, Vital Oxide has also been proven effective in killing Norovirus, Legionella pneumophilia, E. coli, and the H1N1 virus (Swine Flu), as well as many other pathogens.
